Apostadores terão 10 dias para resgatar valores de bets irregulares, diz Haddad
Apostadores que têm dinheiro depositado em empresas de aposta online irregulares terão um prazo de dez dias, a partir desta terça-feira (1º), para sacar os recursos. Segundo o ministro da Fazenda, Fernando Haddad, o governo deve divulgar nesta terça a lista das bets autorizadas a seguir em funcionamento. As que não estiverem na lista serão proibidas de operar e terão os sites derrubados – mas só a partir do dia 11, para que os apostadores possam sacar os valores depositados nesses serviços. Quem não pediu credenciamento não vai poder operar desde já, vai ter 10 dias. Esses 10 dias são mais para o apostador do que para a casa de aposta, porque tem muita gente que tem recurso financeiro depositado na casa de aposta, explicou Haddad. Então, os 10 dias é para a pessoa verificar se tem saldo e pedir a restituição. Caso contrário, nós já tiraríamos do ar imediatamente, mas não vamos fazê-lo para proteger a poupança do eventual apostador, disse Haddad a jornalistas. Segundo o ministro, as empresas que estão em processo de credenciamento poderão permanecer em operação, desde que estejam atendendo à regulamentação da Secretaria de Prêmios e Apostas do ministério. E, caso não venham a ser credenciadas até o final do ano, ou não paguem a outorga, também sairão do ar, acrescentou. Nesta tarde, o secretário da Prêmios e Apostas do Ministério da Fazenda, Regis Dudena, afirmou que após os 10 dias de prazo as casas de apostas deverão se responsabilizar pela devolução dos valores. É de responsabilidade das casas com dinheiro depositado providenciar a devolução. As casas com dinheiro depositado vão ter dever de devolver aos consumidores, afirmou. A Procuradoria Federal dos Direitos do Cidadão já instaurou um procedimento para verificar o impacto das apostas online nas pessoas em situação de vulnerabilidade social e econômica. Em outra frente, a pedido do diretor-geral Andrei Passos, a Polícia Federal abriu uma investigação preliminar para apurar a atuação de grupos internacionais suspeitos de lavar dinheiro no mercado de apostas esportivas.
