BeatStars applies producer coupon codes only to eligible items from that specific producer, so you avoid the \"code not valid for this item\" message by matching the code to the right producer, product type, and license before entering it in the cart's coupon field. After adding beats or other items to your cart: 1. Proceed to the Checkout page. 2. Click the \"Apply Coupon\" button that appears above the items in your cart. 3. Enter the producer's coupon in the \"Apply coupon code\" field and click \"Apply Coupon\". BeatStars support notes that promo codes must be valid, unexpired, and applicable to your purchase, which means the code has to be tied to the same producer profile whose items are in your cart. Producer setup tools let sellers target codes to specific product types (tracks, sound kits, and services) and even to particular licenses only. If your cart contains excluded licenses or different product types, BeatStars will reject the code on those items until you adjust the cart to include only what the code covers.
