Here are some of the most popular types of soccer bets you can offer on your sportsbook:\n1. Match winner: 1X2 The 1X2 market is one of the most common soccer bet types, and it involves customers choosing between three possible outcomes: 1 for a home win, X for a draw, 2 for an away win. This market usually covers 90 minutes plus stoppage time, but not extra time or penalties. For example, if a customer bets on the home team and the match is tied after 90 minutes, the bet loses even if the home team later wins in extra time or on penalties. You can also offer related markets that reduce the impact of a draw. Double chance covers two outcomes, such as a home win or draw, while draw no bet typically returns the customer’s stake if the match ends in a draw.\n2. Total goals and team goals\nTotal goals bets let customers predict whether the combined number of goals in a match will be over or under a line you set. For example, over 2.5 goals wins if the match has three or more goals, while under 2.5 goals wins if there are two or fewer. Team goals markets work similarly but apply to the number of goals scored by one team only. For example, a customer could bet on the away team to score over 1.5 goals, regardless of the final match result. You can also offer goal totals for specific periods, such as the first or second half. These markets require accurate match data to ensure all goals, including those scored during stoppage time, are assigned to the correct periods.
